Common questions
Before you order.
How do I know whether I need direct thermal or thermal transfer?
Lifespan decides it. If the label is scanned and discarded within months — shipping, despatch, temporary tracking — direct thermal is cheaper and needs no ribbon. If it has to stay legible for a year or more, or survive heat, light or handling, use thermal transfer.
Will your rolls run on my existing printer?
In almost all cases, yes. Send us your printer make and model with your enquiry and we'll match core size, roll diameter and winding direction to it.
Can I get a sample before ordering volume?
Yes. We'd rather you test the roll on your own line first — it's the only reliable way to confirm the adhesive holds on your surface and at your temperature.
What are your minimum order quantities?
MOQs depend on the material and roll size — smaller runs are available for testing, with better pricing at volume. Send us your monthly usage and we'll quote accordingly.
Do you deliver outside your immediate area?
Yes, we deliver nationwide across South Africa. Lead times depend on location and order size — we'll confirm a delivery window with your quote.
Can labels be printed with our branding?
Yes. We offer custom-converted rolls printed with your logo, colours and layout, alongside standard blank stock. Let us know what you need when you request a quote.
